Cogeco Communications Inc. is a Canada-based cable operator in Ontario and Quebec. The Company operates through two segments: Canadian broadband services and American broadband services. The Canadian and American broadband services segments provide a wide range of Internet, video and telephony services primarily to residential customers as well as business services across its coverage areas. Its Canadian broadband services activities are carried out by Cogeco Connexion in the provinces of Quebec and Ontario and the American broadband services activities are carried out by Atlantic Broadband in approximately 11 states, including Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. It offers a range of Internet packages with top download speeds of up to one gigabits per second (Gbps) in Canada and the United States.
